The Chapter steering committee consists of a Chapter Director, Secretary, Finance Officer, Membership Officer, and Program Officer. These elected officers serve a one year term commencing April 1.

Kimberly Albert
Kimberly Albert, Chapter Co-Director Revenue Accounting Administrator for GL-Garrad Hassan. Kimberly has been working in wind since 2007. She has lead multiple key accounting initiatives for the GL GH team including authoring multiple new key processes and procedures improving commercial operations, personnel systems and financial reporting across North America. Kimberly served as WoWE San Diego's first webmaster updating the chapter website fresh with the latest WoWE news. In addition to keeping up with her two small children's activities and her own volunteer efforts, Kimberly manages 5 family-owned rental properties.
Lisa Carp
Lisa Carp, Chapter Co-Director Vice President, Human Resources for enXco. Lisa has been in the wind-energy industry since 1998. Her prior experience includes human resources management within the medical industry, medical device manufacturing industry, and the insurance and financial products industry. She is serves on the boards of the Independent Power Human Resources Association and Alternatives to Domestic Violence, Riverside County. Lisa earned a BS from Cal Poly, Pomona and an MBA from University of Phoenix. Lisa is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute.
Laura Curley style=
Laura Curley, Secretary Business Development Officer for First American Title's Energy Group. Since joining First American's energy market group at its inception, Laura has participated in researching or insuring energy-related transactions in many US states, plus Canada and Mexico. The proposed technologies have included wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, gas storage, biomass and biofuel. In her role, Laura interacts with developers, lenders and their counsel translating client requirements into insurance solutions. Laura majored in Business Administration & Interdisciplinary Studies at Bentley College, She is fluent in Spanish and is a Certified ABA approved Paralegal.
Sosi Biricik
Sosi Biricik, Finance Director Counsel and former partner in Latham & Watkins' Project Finance and Development Group. Sosi has represented developers, lenders and governments in the structuring and financing of domestic and international power projects and in promoting legislative and regulatory reforms in the energy sector. Her areas of expertise include wind energy development, wind, solar and geothermal project finance. She has written a number of articles on matters of interest to the renewable community, which may be found on Latham & Watkins' website. Sosi holds a BS from UCLA and received her J.D. degree USC. She has been with Latham & Watkins for 23 years.
Mary Anderson
Mary Anderson, Membership Director Associate of Planning and Permitting for AES Wind Generation, LLC, a subsidiary of the AES Corporation. In her eleven years at AES Wind Generation, Mary has supported AES's Permitting Director and various Project Directors in successfully completing the environmental and regulatory permits required to complete approximately 750 MW of wind projects in California, Texas, Wyoming and Oregon. Mary relishes the challenges of wind energy permitting which is a vital element in bringing proposed projects to completion. Ms. Anderson studied Art and Architecture at Portland State University.
Michelle Huysman
Julia Pettit, Program Director Of Counsel at Stoel Rives, LLP. As a member of the firm's corporate group, her practice focuses in renewable energy project finance, development, mergers and acquisitions. Julia also advises on and negotiates core agreements relating to renewable energy projects, including leases, PPA's, consulting joint venture, EPC/O&M and supply/offtake agreements. She frequently has been asked to speak at conferences on topics related to renewable energy finance and M&A. Julia earned a BA in Economics from the University of Utah and a JD from Suffolk University, Boston. Julia has been with Stoel Rives for the past 10 years of her 21 year legal career.
